How do I remove the white background from my signature?

Is my signature uploaded or stored?

No. The image is processed by your browser on your device. It is not uploaded to our server, saved, or used to train a model.

What image gives the best result?

Use a sharp, well-lit photo with the signature on white or light-colored paper. Crop out hands, pens, printed text, table lines, and stamps when possible.

Can I keep a blue signature?

Yes. Choose Original to preserve the photographed ink, or select Blue to create a consistent blue result. Black and custom colors are also available.

Can I use the transparent signature in Word or a PDF?

Yes. Download the transparent PNG and insert it as an image in Word, Google Docs, a PDF editor, or a design tool. Only use a signature when you have permission to do so.

Can I remove the background from someone else’s signature?

Only when that person has explicitly authorized you to process and use the signature for a legitimate purpose. Do not use this tool to impersonate someone, imply approval, create a false document, or sign without consent.

Why are some letters becoming faint?

Move Background removal slightly to the left to preserve lighter strokes. Increasing Edge softness can also make thin pen marks appear smoother.
